Our telephone service operates on a pre-paid basis. When you sign up, your initial payment will include the one-time reconnect activation fee, your first month’s bill plus any additional features you choose. Following your initial payment to Canada Reconnect, you will be billed on a monthly basis. See our Payments page for details.

Upon receiving your initial payment, your home phone service will be active within 3 to 7 business days (5 to 10 in Manitoba). Once your line is active, all your services are available, along with access to toll-free numbers and 911 Emergency Services. (Please note that we can not provide immediate phone service to customers who do not have an available hook-up in their homes. If there’s a problem, Canada Reconnect can offer to schedule a fully qualified technician to install any necessary wiring – just like the big phone companies!).

UNLIMITED Dial-Up Internet Service

Our UNLIMITED Dialup Internet Service is only $28.12 a month and unlike offers from other companies, ours is truly unlimited. There is no fine print, you simply signup for our service and surf as much as you want whenever you want. It's that easy!

Call Display ($9.95/month) - See who's calling before you answer.

Call Waiting ($9.95/month) - Easily switch to an incoming call while you're on the phone.

3 Feature Bundle ($25.00/month) - Save $5 when you purchase Voicemail, Call Display and Call Waiting together.

Long Distance - Access Number Required

We sell regular and cellular long distance that requires an access number in per minute and unlimited packages.

Per minute packages range from 100 to 3,000 minutes with some rates starting at 4¢/minute.

Unlimited Long Distance is $15.95/month from urban centers where available.

* $29 covers the one-time only activation fee (Ontario, Quebec and the Territories residents pay $39) and does not include the cost of any additional features, necessary techinicians fees, or the monthly billing amount. One-time activation fee is NON-Refundable.

Long Distance Details:
* Network Management fee of $4.95 applies to each order.
* Unlimited Plan allows up to 1000 minutes of usage.
* 200 minute, Unlimited and 4.9¢/min offers do not include calling to
Canadian area codes 709, 807 and 867 or to U.S. area codes 907 and 808, please
refer to our rate sheet for call prices to those area codes.
* Minutes do not roll over from month to month.
