Products and Services
Our telephone service operates on a pre-paid basis. When you sign up, your initial payment will include the one-time
reconnect activation fee, your first month’s bill plus any additional features you choose. Following your initial
payment to Canada Reconnect, you will be billed on a monthly basis.

Upon receiving your initial payment, your home phone service will be active within 3 to 7 business days (5 to 10 in
Manitoba). Once your line is active, all your services are available, along with access to toll-free numbers and 911
Emergency Services. (Please note that we can not provide immediate phone service to customers who do not have an
available hook-up in their homes. If there’s a problem, Canada Reconnect can offer to schedule a
fully qualified technician to install any necessary wiring – just like the big phone companies!).
